Room for rent in Youbou BC. Reduced rent in exchange for carpentry/handy person work. Small waterfront cottage in Youbou needs work, but is safe, clean, dry, and pest-free. I work full time in an executive role and haven't had the time to do the repairs I planned when I bought this fixer-upper. I'm open to all sorts of negotiations, including work/rent trade, hosting a small family temporarily, new immigrants, single parents or van lifers. Have two workshops, storage, lake access and parking. Short term preferred but could lead to longer term for the right fit. You need a vehicle to live in Youbou, bus service is currently on strike and very limited. Prefer non-tobacco-smoker but cannabis ok. Prefer someone who is sober or consumes little alcohol. No drugs/parties- this is a safe, quiet, family space. Dog friendly, no cats due to allergies.
