Great Greens Farm Market is looking for a dynamic individual with strong customer service, leadership and management skills to join our busy produce team. The Assistant Produce Manager is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Assistant Manager will work with the Department Managers to deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement. Specific duties: -Maintain standards daily for stock levels, product quality, merchandising on the floor -Order stock & input/maintain inventory and pricing in Point of Sale system and on the floor -Monitor department cleanliness and insure staff are rotating and cleaning tables/racks as needed -Receive and audit deliveries to insure product quality and accuracy of accounting and pricing -Prioritize items delivered to insure proper handling-floor/ prep/ back-stock -Maintain cooler organization and rotation -Strategize with Department Manager to manage strategic product placement -In the absence of Department Manager, effectively communicate with the team to coordinate to achieve daily goals and ensure smooth department operations -Processing orders on our point of sale system. -Interact positively with customers. -Communicate effectively with teammates.
