$2,500 · Wanted: Long-Term Rental Home

We are a responsible family of five seeking a long-term rental home anywhere from Cedar -Nanaimo- Hilliers, etc. After living in our current home for six years, we are moving as our landlords need to accommodate aging parents. We are looking for a 3-bedroom house with a yard and garage or storage space. We are hoping to sign a long-term lease as we plan to stay in the area while our children finish school(5-7 years). Our family consists of Dad, Mom, two wonderful boys (full-time) and a lovely daughter who lives with us part-time. We also have an 11-year-old Miniature Pinscher (11 lbs on a healthy week, 12.5 lbs on a treat week), who is crate-trained and an important part of the family but we are able to re-home him with his grandparents who he loves if it's a deal breaker. We are an active family, often bike riding, camping, swimming, or having a campfire. We currently live on a well water and septic system, so we are mindful of water conservation and are familiar with the responsibilities of this system. My partner owns a local landscaping and hardscaping business serving areas from Ladysmith to Qualicum Beach, and would be happy to maintain the yard and property. He is also highly mechanically inclined and able to assist with any repairs or maintenance if needed. We have two vehicles, two work trailers, business tools and a 26' MacGregor sailboat, which we hope to store on the property. We're aiming for a budget of $2,500 per month plus utilities.
