Beautiful mint condition Vulcan S. Kawasaki calls the Vulcan S a "sport cruiser" because it's more agile than most cruisers. The Vulcan S is powered by the same parallel twin 650cc engine as the Ninja 650, Z650 and Versys 650 with specific tuning to give the Vulcan S its cruiser feel and performance. The Vulcan S's 650cc parallel twin motor pumps out 11 more HP then the V-twin 900 Vulcan. The Vulcan S is 119 pounds lighter than the 900cc V-twin Vulcan. I owned and toured across Canada with both the Vulcan 900 and the S and I found the S much faster and peppier. The low seat and light weight makes it easy to maneuver in city traffic and it’s great for even long distance tours (this bike did great riding to Tennessee and back, and it had no problem keeping pace on the Interstate freeways). The bike has adjustable pegs, optional seats, and handlebars to suit riders of all shapes and sizes. This bike is set up to accommodate a shorter rider, with extended handle bars, custom seat, and easy mini floor boards. (You can order larger seats, different handlebars, and I have the original pegs). I have outfitted this bike for long distance touring.
