Healthcare Assistant Required - Part time

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Young Healthcare Assistant to join our team and provide essential care to the client, in his own home. This is NOT a Companion Position but rather a hands-on fast paced exciting job where you assist with the ongoing advancement of your clients care. The position requires attention to detail, compassion, and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the client. Hours of Work: 7hrs each Friday & Saturday plus 2.5hrs Mon/Wed morning. Duties: - Assist client with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, mobility and recreation programs - Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry - Be capable of driving a wheelchair van and confident with maneuvering an electric wheelchair. Requirements: - Prior experience as healthcare assistant is preferred - Clean Drivers License - Strong knowledge of patient care practices and procedures - Certification in healthcare assistance (HCA/RCA) or related field is a plus This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the life of the client.
